KidVid

Work With Your Peers to Bring Your Ideas to Life!

In association with Inside Out Community Arts, the Los Angeles-based KidVid program engages up to 18 high school students each year to work with film and television professionals to learn filmmaking and production techniques.

Through the course of the program, the students shoot and edit short films that address topics of importance to them. Participants in the KidVid program will experience hands-on training in documentary filmmaking and gain competency in the Arts and the TV and Film Industry, which may lead to viable career path options.

Program Details

Inside Out Alumni and other high school students are eligible to join the KidVid teen filmmaking program. KidVid films premiere alongside live plays at The School Project’s Culminating Performances and at special Academy Screenings.

Beginning in 2009, in partnership with the Warner Bros. REACH Program, we will be recommending outstanding Inside Out high school seniors for competitive opportunities for 4-year college scholarships and paid summer internships at Warner Bros. Studios.
